Entry requirements

Passes at A-C in 4 GCSE subjects plus one A level at Grade C or equivalent points (e.g. 2 AS at grade D).

Other acceptable Qualifications include:
• Pre 2002 qualifications (e.g. GNVQ, BTEC, etc.)
• International Baccalaureate (24 pts)
• European Baccalaureate (65%)
• Foundation Year/Access Course pass

Mature Students

If you are over the age of 21 you qualify as a mature student. Should you have no formal qualifications a non-standard entry route is available. Candidates are encouraged to apply if they feel they can benefit from the programme: such applicants will be considered on the basis of relevant work experience and attainment of skills, which demonstrate an ability to study at this level. Students with non-standard qualifications may be asked to complete a written piece of work on a relevant subject and/or have a learning needs assessment.

All successful applicants will be invited to attend an enrollment session prior to the start of the course.

In Work or Volunteering

It is a requirement of the course that all students will be in a relevant work environment, either as a paid member of staff or on a voluntary basis for at least ten hours a week.
